Creative-industry-related subjects are among the most popular for young local people studying at university. Creative Jersey aim to encourage as many of them to return to the Island after graduating. Through placements, work-shadowing schemes and workshops, Creative Jersey will offer students the chance to spend time in the industry, building up real experience and forging relationships with potential future employers.

Creative Jersey have been working closely with Hautlieu School on a submission to the British Interactive Media Association School's Digital Challenge. A prestigious national competition, the BIMA Digital Challenge requires that schools submit ideas for digital projects that will be of benefit to their local community.
The submission from Hautlieu is a web-based project that features digital footage of interviews conducted by the students with Islanders who lived through the German occupation.
We're pleased to announce that Hautlieu are through to the final and will be attending the awards ceremony in London. Press release to go out soon.

It's fantastic news that media students from Hautlieu’s sixth form have reached the final of a national competition, the BIMA School’s Digital Challenge. We'd like to wish them all the best for the judging on 12th June and more importantly, the awards ceremony on 12th July.
